Accessibility Statement

A supplier statement on EnaTTO's accessibility against the WCAG 2.2 AA target, the measures taken, what has not yet been evaluated and known limitations.

Effective date: Last updated:
This text is for information; the terms of your signed service agreement prevail.

This English version is a translation provided for convenience. In case of conflict the Turkish version prevails. This document is pending legal review.

ENA Innovation aims to build EnaTTO so that everyone, including people with disabilities, can use it. This statement describes the product's accessibility target, what has been evaluated so far, the measures taken and the known limitations. It is deliberately specific about what has not been evaluated yet.

1. Nature of this statement

ProductEnaTTO (web administration interface and the public pages organizations publish with it)
Target standardWCAG 2.2, Level AA (W3C Recommendation, 5 October 2023)
Conformance statusPartial conformance (the administration screens evaluated on 4 November 2026); not yet evaluated (screens added later and the public pages)
Evaluation date4 November 2026
Next reviewNovember 2027, on a major product release, or when the screens not yet evaluated have been evaluated
OwnerENA Innovation

This document is a supplier accessibility statement prepared for customers' audit, compliance and tender files. It is not a third-party conformance certificate, a VPAT/ACR or a laboratory report. Full WCAG 2.2 AA conformance is a target; it is not awarded by this statement, and this statement does not determine whether any accessibility law applies to a customer (for example national laws implementing the European Accessibility Act or the Web Accessibility Directive).

2. Scope

Evaluated on 4 November 2026 (administration interface, 34 screens):

  • overview, my tasks, documents, committees (list, committee, meeting)
  • invention disclosures, IP portfolio (asset, application), projects, ideas, funding calls and funding programs
  • reports (indicators, intellectual property, projects, workload, exports)
  • directory (institutions, people, partners), workflows, audit log, users, system administration (sign-in, language and region, maintenance)
  • the first industry collaboration screens (company, expertise and laboratory directories)

Not yet evaluated with the same method:

  • screens added after 4 November 2026: industry demands and agreements, startups, training and events, commercialization, publications, trends and indicator sets, benchmarking, AI suggestions and settings
  • the public pages: technology catalogue, industry demand form, startup application forms, event registration, feedback survey and certificate verification

Out of scope or limited:

  • The sign-in and invitation pages of the identity service (Logto) and of an organization's own single sign-on provider, and permission prompts of the browser
  • Content the customer enters itself, for example record texts, uploaded documents and logos
  • Exported files (Excel, CSV) and PDF certificates generated by the Service; the accessibility of the PDFs has not been evaluated
  • The www.enatto.com marketing website

3. Conformance status

Evaluated administration screens: partial conformance. On 4 November 2026 the screens listed in Section 2 were scanned with axe-core 4.14 (WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 A and AA rules), each loaded separately in a signed-in browser, in both the dark and the light theme, on desktop and narrow window widths. The problems found were fixed (Section 4), and the final scan reported no violations on these screens in both themes. The light theme was scanned again after it turned out that the first light-theme run had used the browser's colour scheme emulation instead of the interface's own theme setting.

Automated scans find only part of the possible accessibility problems. Recorded testing with screen readers (for example VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS) and an independent audit have not been done. Full AA conformance is therefore not claimed.

Screens added later and public pages: not yet evaluated. They are built with the same components and development rules (Section 4), but they have not been scanned and checked with the method above. No statement is made about their conformance until they have been.

4. Measures taken

MeasureWCAG criterion
"Skip to main content" link at the start of every administration page2.4.1
Every action available by keyboard; scrollable areas without focusable elements are labelled regions that can receive focus2.1.1
Visible focus outline in both themes2.4.7
Accessible names of buttons include their visible text (fixed for the account menu and the date range button)2.5.3
Text contrast of theme colours checked by an automated test in continuous integration, in both themes1.4.3
Charts of trend indicators each have a table view1.1.1, 1.3.1
Public forms validate each field, mark invalid fields (aria-invalid) and move focus to the first error3.3.1, 3.3.3
Loading states announced accessibly; card headings use a heading level4.1.3, 1.3.1
Destructive and irreversible actions ask for confirmation3.3.4
Respect for the operating system's "reduce motion" preference for animations2.3.3
Page language set from the interface language so that screen readers pronounce content correctly3.1.1
Accessibility linting (eslint-plugin-jsx-a11y) set to fail the build1.1.1, 1.3.1, 4.1.2

5. Language

The administration interface and the public pages are available in Turkish, English and German; German is a first version that is still being reviewed. Some texts generated by the server (for example emails, export labels and PDF certificates) appear in English when the organization's language is not Turkish. Details: Multilingual Statement.

6. Known limitations

  • Screens not yet evaluated (Section 2) may contain problems that the evaluated screens no longer have.
  • Screen reader testing: recorded testing with screen readers has not been done.
  • Not every WCAG 2.2 criterion has been checked individually by hand; for example 3.3.7 Redundant Entry has not been verified for every multi-step flow, and 3.3.8 Accessible Authentication depends partly on the identity service's sign-in pages, which are out of scope.
  • PDF certificates and exported files have not been evaluated.
  • Customer content (texts, documents, logos) is the customer's responsibility.

7. Evaluation method

MethodAutomated scan with axe-core 4.14 (WCAG 2.0/2.1/2.2 A and AA rules) of each listed screen; automated contrast test of theme colours in continuous integration; accessibility linting
Date4 November 2026
EnvironmentAdministration interface in the dark and light theme; desktop and narrow window widths
Not yet doneEvaluation of screens added later and of the public pages; recorded screen reader testing; manual check of every WCAG 2.2 criterion; third-party audit

8. Planned work

  1. Scan the screens added after 4 November 2026 and the public pages with the same method, and fix what is found.
  2. Record screen reader testing of the main paths: sign-in, invention disclosure, committee decision, public forms and certificate verification.
  3. Evaluate the PDF certificates.

This statement will be updated when this work is complete. The next review takes place by November 2027 at the latest (Section 11).
