Release notes

New features, improvements and fixes in EnaTTO: the app, the public pages and the server.

EnaTTO app, public pages and API

One version for the signed-in app, the public pages and the server.

  1. Version 1.3.0

    New EnaTTO logo

    • ImprovedNew EnaTTO logo: a spark launched by an arrow shows an idea's path from invention to market and impact; the app icon and browser tab icon are updated too
    • FixedThe interface uses the same term for the same concept everywhere (for example the negotiation status); descriptions in the regional settings were corrected
  2. Version 1.2.0

    Release process

    • ImprovedNew versions are checked more thoroughly before they are published; nothing changes in how you use the app
  3. Version 1.1.1

    Safer, faster updates

    • ImprovedServer updates now run in one step: the changes are shown first, then a backup is taken and the new version is installed
  4. Version 1.1.0

Industry collaboration, startups, academy and commercialisation; integrations, German interface, analytics and optional AI assistance

    • NewIndustry: company profiles, an expertise directory and a directory of laboratories and facilities; academics can update their own expertise profile
    • NewIndustry demands: suitable experts and laboratories are suggested with reasons, and you decide whom to contact; meetings are recorded on the demand or the company
    • NewCompanies can send a demand through a public form without an account; once confirmed by e-mail, your team is notified in the app and by e-mail
    • NewIndustry agreements and payments: consultancy, contract research, testing services, joint R&D and training in one place; industry collaboration indicators in reports
    • NewStartup programmes and calls: applications arrive through a public form, the reviewers you assign score them on weighted criteria, and your team decides
    • NewStartup records: mentoring and sessions, milestones, periodic check-ins, a lean canvas and an investment readiness checklist
    • NewFunding rounds, spin-off details and programme exit; startup indicators in reports
    • NewAcademy: training programmes, events and sessions, a waiting list when an event is full, and attendance per session
    • NewPublic event registration: participants confirm by e-mail and can cancel until the first session; people on the waiting list get an e-mail when a seat opens
    • NewCertificates of attendance as PDF; anyone can check a certificate on the verification page
    • NewAnonymous feedback survey after an event; training and event indicators in reports
    • NewCommercialisation: a technology portfolio with TRL history and market assessment; patents, invention disclosures, projects and documents come together in one technology
    • NewA public technology catalogue with an "I'm interested" form; confirmed interest arrives as a licensee candidate, and you track the negotiation steps
    • NewLicence, assignment and option agreements, revenue, and revenue sharing per agreement (you enter the shares); commercialisation indicators in reports
    • NewPublications: import from OpenAlex with an ORCID iD or add one by DOI; publication topics are suggested as keywords for the expertise profile
    • NewEPO check on patent applications: the published application's data and its EP Register status are compared with your record, and you choose what to update
    • NewImport people and units from CSV or Excel; a preview shows the outcome of each row before anything is saved
    • NewSign-in with your institutional account (SSO) can be set up; on first sign-in, users are matched to the person record with the same e-mail
    • NewCountry profiles for Türkiye, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Switzerland: recommended patent offices, national funding programmes and reporting framework labels
    • NewGerman interface (preview: the translation is still to be reviewed by a native speaker; e-mails and exports generated by the server are in English for now)
    • NewTrends in reports: follow indicators over months, quarters or years as charts and tables; save and share indicator sets and get an e-mail summary at the end of each period
    • NewBenchmarking (optional): preview and approve your yearly indicators and compare anonymously with similar institutions; you can leave at any time
    • NewAI assistance (optional, off by default): keyword and sector suggestions, ranking of candidates for an industry demand, and an editable report draft from indicators; confidential records are never sent
    • NewWhat's new page: see what changed in each version
    • ImprovedLists keep your search and filters when you come back from a record; clear filters in one click when nothing matches
    • ImprovedRecord pages have a copy link button, and the browser tab shows the record's name
    • ImprovedPublic forms point straight to the field that needs fixing
    • ImprovedDeleting and other irreversible actions ask for confirmation; "today" and due dates follow your organisation's time zone
    • ImprovedJustified access to a strictly confidential document notifies the people responsible
    • ImprovedOnly the TTO team starts and cancels the invention disclosure workflow; joining a committee no longer gives access to strictly confidential agenda records
    • FixedWhen a page cannot load, you now get a retry option instead of a blank screen or endless loading
    • FixedA submitted startup review can no longer be changed, and an application to a closed call can no longer be confirmed
    • FixedLong record titles no longer run under the buttons on narrow screens
