Portfolio, applications and deadlines in one place

EnaTTO keeps the IP portfolio record by record: patent families and other assets, applications to patent offices, status history, office correspondence, deadlines and costs. A person confirms each deadline and the system sends the reminders.

Portfolio records

Patent families, utility models, designs, trade secrets and software, linked to their source disclosures.

Office profiles

TÜRKPATENT, EPO, WIPO/PCT, USPTO, and DPMA, UKIPO, Octrooicentrum or IGE through the country profile.

Confirmed deadlines

Deadlines are suggested from the office profile and dates, confirmed by a person and reminded 30, 7 and 1 day ahead.

Time-limited attorney access

A patent attorney sees only the applications and documents assigned to them, for a set period.

EPO check

Published data and the EP Register status are compared with your record; you choose what to update.

Costs

Office, attorney and translation costs are totalled per currency; this is not an accounting system.

From decision to portfolio

An approved protection decision on an invention disclosure opens the portfolio record automatically. A portfolio record can be a patent family, utility model, design, trade secret or software, and shows which disclosures it came from. Every record carries a confidentiality class; strictly confidential records are visible to record members only.

Applications, status history and correspondence

Applications are created with the types the office profile offers: national patent, PCT, European patent, utility model or design. Filing and priority dates, publication and grant numbers, status history and office correspondence (examination reports, oppositions, notifications and so on) stay on the same record. Correspondence with a response date creates a deadline.

The country profile follows the organisation’s country. The profiles for Türkiye, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Switzerland suggest the national office plus EPO, WIPO and USPTO, and the new application form offers only the suggested offices.

Deadlines: suggested by the system, confirmed by a person

Deadlines such as the priority year, PCT national phase entry and renewal fees are suggested from the office profile and the dates you enter; a person has to confirm them before they count. For confirmed deadlines, the people responsible get in-app and e-mail reminders 30, 7 and 1 day ahead.

Suggestions are reminders. EnaTTO does not perform a legal deadline calculation or a patentability assessment; responsibility always stays with the team that confirms the record.

The EPO check

The EPO check on an application reads the bibliographic data of the published document from EPO Open Patent Services and, for EP documents, the EP Register status, and shows where they differ from your record. The query uses the publication number only: an application without a publication number is never looked up, and no title, note or personal name is sent.

The status suggestion is a rule-based match on the register text, not a legal determination. You choose which fields to update; the change is written to the status history and the audit log. The OPS credentials are the institution’s own.

Frequently asked questions

Can our patent attorney work in EnaTTO?
Yes. The attorney is invited with time-limited access to the applications assigned to them and their documents. They can edit application fields and correspondence but cannot see internal notes or other records. Access closes on the server when the period ends.
Does EnaTTO calculate deadlines?
EnaTTO suggests deadlines from the office profile and the dates entered; a deadline only counts once a person confirms it. Suggestions are reminders and do not replace legal advice.
Can TÜRKPATENT applications be checked automatically?
TÜRKPATENT has no public API, so Turkish applications can only be compared through the EPO check when EPO holds publication data for them.
Does cost tracking replace our accounting system?
No. Costs are recorded with type, amount, currency and date and totalled per currency; payments and accounting stay in the institution’s own systems.
