Integrations
Services EnaTTO connects to - ENA Notify email, EPO OPS, ORCID, OpenAlex, Crossref, benchmarking and the AI gateway - and what each of them receives.
- EnaTTO app

EnaTTO uses a few external services. Each receives only what it needs; unpublished and confidential information never leaves EnaTTO.
Required role
- Integrations (Owner, Administrator) for the Integrations section of System management.
Notification gateway (email)
EnaTTO sends emails (invitations, notifications, form confirmations, certificates, summaries) only through ENA Notify. There is no mail provider to configure in your organization. Under System management → Integrations → Notification gateway you see whether it is Configured and can Send test to an address of your choice. If it is not configured, emails cannot be sent; contact support.
Publications: ORCID, OpenAlex and Crossref
Expertise profiles import publications from OpenAlex using the person's ORCID iD and add single publications by DOI from Crossref. Only the ORCID iD or DOI is sent. No setup is needed in the panel. See Companies, expertise and laboratories.
EPO Open Patent Services
The EPO check on patent applications uses your institution's own EPO Open Patent Services (OPS) registration. The OPS key is set in the server configuration, not in the panel; ask ENA Innovation to add it. Only publication numbers are sent.
- "The EPO data service is not configured for this installation": the key has not been added.
- "The EPO service rejected the organisation's key": the key needs to be checked.
TÜRKPATENT has no public API, so Turkish applications are tracked by hand and checked through EPO data where it exists.
Benchmarking
Integrations → Benchmarking turns participation on or off and sets your institution type. See Benchmarking.
AI assistance
Integrations → AI assistance turns AI suggestions on or off. It is off by default. See AI assistance.
Single sign-on
Signing in with your institution's account is set up in the identity service, not in this section. See Single sign-on.
