Maintenance, backups and updates
EnaTTO's setup and service status screens, loading the demo dataset, how backups and updates work on your organization's server, and the What's new page.

Each organization runs EnaTTO on its own server with its own database and file storage. Maintenance shows how that installation is doing, and What's new shows what changed in each release.
Required role
- Maintenance: Owner, Administrator.
- What's new: everyone who can sign in.
Setup
System management → Maintenance → Setup shows the Setup summary: setup status and date, organization name, setup version, live version, customer code and environment.
Demo data
While your organization has no records, an owner can click Load demo data to add a complete fictional university TTO in the organization language (Turkish or English): people, disclosures through decision, patents, funding calls, projects in every stage and a committee, about 240 records. Open workflow tasks are assigned to you. All names and inventions are invented and no sign-in accounts are created. Demo records are ordinary records and stay until you delete or archive them. Once real records exist, demo data cannot be loaded.
Service status
Maintenance → Service status shows the live health of the installation: the API process (version, uptime, memory use), database health and connections, file storage, the Redis queue and the Background worker. The worker sends reminders, escalations, emails and exports. If it shows Not responding or No signal, tell your system administrator.
Backups
- The database and the document store are backed up every night, encrypted, and kept for 14 days; the most recent backups are always kept.
- A database backup is also taken before every update.
Updates
An update runs in one step: the changes are shown first, then a backup is taken and the new version is installed. Database changes run before the new version starts; if they fail, the previous version stays in place. Your data and settings are kept.
What's new
Click Version … · What's new at the bottom of the sidebar. The page lists each release with its date and its changes marked New, Improved or Fixed, in Turkish, English or German. Your current version is shown at the top.
