Technology catalogue

Publish technologies in EnaTTO's public catalogue - what visitors see, the checks that protect unpublished inventions, and the "I'm interested" form.

Applies to:
  • EnaTTO app
  • Public pages

The public Technology catalogue shows technologies your institution offers for licensing and collaboration. Companies can browse it and send an inquiry without an account. You decide which technologies appear.

Required role

  • Publishing: Manage the technology portfolio and licensing (TTO staff, Owner). Visitors need no account.

What visitors see

Only the code, title, Summary for marketing, sectors, keywords and the current TRL. The technical description, team, source records and internal notes are never shown.

Publish a technology

Open the technology. Under Catalogue EnaTTO lists what still blocks publishing, if anything.

Fix the blocks: the technology must not be archived, it needs a marketing summary, and every linked invention disclosure must have a recorded IP decision.

Click Publish in catalogue and confirm. Make sure the summary contains no confidential information.

The technology is now marked In catalogue and Catalogue page opens its public page. Remove from catalogue takes it off again.

Unpublished inventions stay protected

A disclosure without an institutional decision cannot be linked to a published technology. If such a link appears later, the technology is hidden from the catalogue until the decision is recorded. Archiving a technology also removes it from the catalogue.

Inquiries

On a technology's public page, visitors click I'm interested and leave their company, name, email, phone, Type of interest (Licence, Assignment, Joint development, Other) and a message. The inquiry is forwarded after they confirm by email; unconfirmed inquiries are deleted after 48 hours.

A confirmed inquiry becomes a licensee candidate marked Catalogue form, and commercialisation managers are notified in the panel and by email.
