Registration and waitlist
How participants register for EnaTTO events - added by the TTO or through the public form with email confirmation - and how the waitlist and cancellations work.
- EnaTTO app
- Public pages
This article was verified with an older release. Screen names or steps may differ in the current version.
Participants register for an event in two ways: the TTO adds them, or they register themselves on the public event page. Either way, when the event is full new registrations go on a waitlist.
Required role
- Manage training and events (TTO staff, Owner) for the participant list. Public registration needs no account.
Add a participant
On the event, Participants → Add participant. Pick a person From the directory or type the Full name and E-mail, then the Affiliation (Academic, Student, Institution staff, Industry, Public sector, Other), organisation, phone and a note. Click Register.
An email address can be registered only once per event (cancelled registrations excepted).
Public registration
People register on the public event page and confirm with the link sent to their email. A registration takes its place when it is confirmed; unconfirmed registrations are deleted after 48 hours. The same link later lets the participant see their registration and cancel it until the event starts.
Public registrations appear in the list marked Web form. The TTO is not notified about each one.
Statuses
- Awaiting confirmation: registered on the public form, not yet confirmed.
- Registered: has a place.
- Waitlisted: the event was full; the list shows the waitlist position.
- Cancelled: cancelled by the TTO or the participant.
The header shows registered, capacity and waitlisted counts. Show switches between Excluding cancelled and All.
Waitlist
When the capacity is reached, new registrations are waitlisted in order of registration. When a place opens (the TTO cancels a registration, the participant cancels, or you increase the capacity), the next person on the waitlist is registered automatically and gets an email. Emails go out in the language the participant registered in.
Cancel registration frees a place; Register again restores a cancelled registration.
