An industry demand is a company's R&D problem or its need for testing, consultancy, contract research, training or licensing. EnaTTO helps the TTO find suitable academics and laboratories, keeps the contacts with the company and follows the demand until it is won or lost.
Required role
- Manage industry collaboration (TTO staff, Owner). Demands carry a company's business information, so nobody else sees them.
Where demands come from
- Added by the TTO: Industry demands → Add demand.
- From the public form: companies send a demand without an account on the industry demand form. Such demands show Web form. They stay Awaiting confirmation until the sender confirms by email; then they become New and the industry team is notified in the panel and by email. Demands not confirmed within 48 hours are deleted.
Demand details
A demand has a title, Demand type (R&D problem, Testing and analysis, Consultancy, Contract research, Training, Licensing, Other), description, Expected by date, the company (from the directory, or just its name), the contact person, Sector, Keywords, Requested services, an Owner in the TTO and an internal note. The internal note is visible only inside the TTO and is never exported or sent in notifications.
Statuses: Awaiting confirmation, New, Under review, Matched, Won, Lost, Withdrawn.
Matching
Under Suggestions EnaTTO lists Experts and Laboratories that fit the demand, with a score and the reasons: shared keywords, the sector and the requested services. Only experts and laboratories marked available for industry are listed. The rules are fixed and transparent; there is no AI in these suggestions.
Click Link to add a suggestion to the demand, then follow each match with its status: Suggested, Contacted, Interested or Not a fit. You decide whom to contact; EnaTTO sends nothing to the experts or the company by itself.
If AI assistance is on, Rank with AI can reorder the rule-based candidates. See AI assistance.
Interactions
Under Interactions → Add interaction log each contact: type (Meeting, Phone call, E-mail, Visit, Other), date, participants, summary and an optional Follow-up date.
From demand to agreement
When the collaboration is agreed, click Create agreement on the demand. When that agreement is signed, the open demand becomes Won. See Industry agreements and payments.
